Gardiner, Montana, and nearby Yellowstone National Park is the site for "Yellowstone Non-Native Plant Removal and Historic Building Renovation" July 6-12. Cost per person is $820, double occupancy.

During the peak leaf viewing season in New England, Elfun and Elderhostel are offering "Working Behind the Scenes to Preserve and Renovate a Shaker Museum" on October 5-10 in Enfield, New Hampshire. Cost per person is $675, double occupancy.
