Elfun Society - Elfun of the Year Award
Each Elfun chapter
is strongly encouraged to honor its members as nominees for
the Elfun of the Year Awards (called the
"Outstanding Individual Elfun Award" before 1980).
- Jack Welch Regular Elfun of the Year
- Frank Doyle Senior Elfun of the Year
- New Elfun of the Year
- Elfun Team of the Year Award, which can include a mix
of chapter members and non-members
Elfun of the Year Awards are made in recognition of
meritorious service in Elfun activities, educational initiatives,
community outreach activities, politics at any level, welfare, or
any other service activity that is clearly beyond the level of
participation called for in an Elfun's regular work assignment.
The awards are presented at the chapter, area, and worldwide levels.
